About Us
1974:The company was founded with an initial capital of NT$500,000 and an employment of five persons. Its major products focused on lathe cutters, end mills, and reamers for the use of both automobile and motorcycle plants.
1984:The company increased its capital to NT$15 million and purchased three PETEWE CNC optical projector forming grinders from Germany, starting the manufacture of formed cutting tools, special tools as well as jigs.
1994:In comply with the government’s go-south policy, the company set up a liaison office in Indonesia with the name of PT. PRIMA UTAMA PRECISION TOOLS, which was the first cutting tool maker of its kind in this Southeast Asian country. The company expects to further upgrade its technologies and strengthen management efforts in the future.
2002:The company’s employment reached the number of 15 people and owned some 30 different machines. Its clients had included major local automobile and motorcycle manufacturers such as Sanyang Industry, Kymco Industry, Yamaha Motor, Sanyo Electric, Teco, and China Motor. Meanwhile, the company had been expanding its business scopes in Indonesia, Mainland China, Thailand, and Malaysia.
